About Bromley Barbershop Harmony Club
We are better known as “The Kentones” and we are a group of men who love singing in harmony, giving back to the community, and having fun!
Founded in 1975, we are currently celebrating our 50th birthday, with events including a recent trip to a European barbershop music festival, Holland Harmony 2025 in Apeldoorn (where we were the proud winners of an award for the Most Entertaining Chorus) and will be celebrating a Golden Anniversary Concert on 18 October 2025.
We perform a wide repertoire of songs including popular music from modern-day composers like Carole King, Leonard Cohen, Abba, the Beatles and Neil Sedaka, etc alongside more traditional barbershop numbers. We joined the British Association of Barbershop Singers (“BABS”) in 1976 and compete regularly at their annual Conventions in Bournemouth or Harrogate.
