We have a very good repertoire of lovely songs and our Music Director makes a selection each year, including new songs.
Uniquely, we have also composed our own songs and in 2024, we had a parody based on the famous song from the DAD's ARMY television series which was and continues to be very well received by our audiences. We have Home Guard costumes including handmade wooden guns and the performance includes short gigs of our very own "Private Frank Pike", "Lance Corporal Jack Jones" and "Private Charles Godfrey". This performance has special appeal to many of our audiences, especially those who are now in their twilight years.
In 2025, we had costumes from Toy Story including our very own "Woody", "Rex", "Hamm", "Wheezy", "Jessie", "Bullseye", "Mr Potatohead", "Bo Peep" and the very likeable "Buzz Lightyear" and performed admirably with two songs from the Toy Story films. In Holland we won the "Most Entertaining Award".
